How it all Started

Our experience with DVC began in December 1994. We had just spent a week at WDW. We had heard of DVC from friends of ours and had decided to "check it out." We took the tour and received the information packet. We brought the information home with us and mulled it over for some time. We came to the conclusion that at that particular time purchasing DVC would not be feasible.

Two years later the whole matter was reopened when we again watched the DVC promotional video. It brought back a lot of good memories about WDW and made us long to return as well as to purchase DVC.

After watching the video we then began a conversation of the feasibility of purchasing DVC. Perhaps the principal reason that compelled us towards purchasing was our approaching wedding in October 1997. In planning our honeymoon we realized that it would be smarter to put the money toward DVC. This would allow us to spend our honeymoon in WDW (which we both love a lot!!) and, perhaps more importantly, have "prepaid" vacations until the year 2042.
