Another lazy awakening. Breakfast was in again – still too cool outside. We made our way over to the resort pool. It was as quiet as the Beach House was on Monday. There weren’t any lifeguards on duty- therefore the slide wasn’t running. It was, however, open upon request. Several times while were there someone requested it opened and therefore we took a few turns. The slide is quite different than the other resorts in that the middle part is in total darkness. It is a bit shorter than the others but because of the total darkness, it is more enjoyable!

There was very little breeze and so it felt a lot warmer than Monday. We sat by the pool and just vegged out reading our books. We cleaned up and drove over to the Outlet Stores. Karen heard that there was a Causal Corner and a Disney catalog outlet and had to go. She scored big at Casual Corner purchasing several outfits for work. We saw the Villeroy and Boch outlet and thought we could get some pieces to finish off our China set. The company had stopped making it within a year of our wedding so we hoped to pick up some stuff. No luck, however.

We made our over to the Outlet #2 and stopped in to the Lillian Vernon store- nothing cool. The Disney Catalog outlet had very limited items. Not too much good things. There is a similar store at the Sawgrass Mils Mall in Sunrise, Florida that has much better selection. The difference is that the Sawgrass Mills store is stocked from leftovers from the parks.

We drive around the Island trying to find the Santa Fe restaurant and also exploring the island. We made our way over the Cross Island expressway which had a good view. We finally decided Santa Fe must be on the beach side of 278 near the resort so we made our way there. We ended up driving up and down 278 and closely inspecting each parking lot. We drove in and out of a couple, finally located Santa Fe. It was not at all what we expected. We thought it would be a Chilly’s/Chi Chi kind of place Tex-Mex place. All of the entrees were quite expensive (cheapest $18) so we made a quick, quiet exit.

We made our way back to the room and cooked up some Chicken parmigiana. We enjoyed some hours devours on the balcony and a little wine with dinner. A relaxing evening with each other. After we watched our favorite TV show- JAG. We thought we would go out for an after dinner swim but it was too cool.
