Saturday and Sunday October 6 & 7, 2001

Alarm clock this morning set for 8am. Time to get everything together and out to the car. We made some sandwiches for the road. We made our way off the island and to the highway around 11am. It was a long day driving as we ran into heavy rains in North Carolina. We made our way to Stafford, VA for the night after a 9 hour drive. Sunday the 7^th was a shorter but no less challenging drive. Another cold front had moved through and there was quite a bit of blustery winds. We finally pulled into our driveway around 3pm.
