We got a nice surprise when Karen found out that her employer was going to send her to Orlando for a seminar and pay her way. Although we wouldn’t be staying on Disney property or even be staying at a DVC resort, the prospect of getting to see Mickey and having someone else foot part of the bill was very exciting. This was a short trip- only Saturday to Thursday but still; it would give us a "Mickey fix"! After all, it had been over a year since our list trip to the parks. We were starting to enter into withdrawal. Also, this would be our first trip to WDW since purchasing our Fuji Digital Camera. We were excited about the prospect of taking virtually an unlimited number of photos since once the camera was "full" we could just download the photos. This would be a test run for the camera and seeing how quickly we would "fill" it and perhaps need to bring the laptop on October for some quick downloads. You will see the photos taken with the Fuji on this trip throughout this write-up.
