Today was a lazy day. Breakfast in bed prepared by Karen! Banana stuffed French toast! Another benefit of the 1BR! After slowing getting ourselves together, we made our way over the Animal Kingdom. The park wasn’t very crowded based on our first stop "Dinosaur". We walked right on without any wait. It was a fun ride as we hadn’t done it in awhile. Right outside the Dino Institute there was the new "Dino-Rama" with Primeval Whirl and Triceratops Twirl, two of the newest Animal Kingdom attractions. The line here was also non-existent and we walked right on. This attraction could best be described as a combination of a roller coaster and the Tea Cups. The first half the car remains locked but then it starts spinning around when you hit the turns making the roller coaster part even more fun. After Primeval Whirl we rode Triceratops Whirl which is similar to the Aladdin Carpet in the MK. You can make the triceratops move up and down as well as tile forward and back.

Our next stop was ‘It’s Tough to be a Bug’ which is always a fun show. We made our way back to the parking lot and then out to the Wal-Mart for a few items. On our return to OKW, we stopped at ‘Goods to Go’ for an order of fries and nachos to go. Back ‘home’ we heated up the White Castle hamburgers (Karen’s first time) and enjoyed lunch.

After lunch we put on our bathing suits and hit the quiet pool. A few more people were starting to show up as the weekend approached but the pool still wasn’t crowded. After swimming we returned to the room. For dinner we had Conch Chowder and Onion Soup to go from ‘Goods to Go’. We spent the rest of the evening at home vegging out, it seemed the week had caught up to us.
