Introduction
This trip would be very different from most of the other DVC trips but similar to June’s trip for a number of reasons.
Having been laid-off the week before Memorial Day, Stephen decided to pursue and complete his Master’s full-time while looking for a job. As December approached and no job was in sight, a DVC Christmas trip was planned. Classes finished on the 9th of December. This trip took place December 12-16, 2004 in a 1 bedroom at Saratoga Springs Resort. Unfortunately Karen had injured herself over the summer and had to take a lot of time off to recuperate. As such, she didn’t have any vacation time for a DVC trip. As a reward for completing his MBA, Karen wanted Stephen to go to Disney, spend some time with his dad and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere at WDW.
Unlike most of the other trip reports (but just like June 2004) that we post on our site, this one will be written in the first person (I instead of we) as there’s only one main participant- Stephen (except for when dad makes his debut)
